is for you. My name is Mikael and I made a living online for quite a few years mainly from affiliate
marketing. So many of viewers have asked me how much time does it take to, for example, get to $100, $200,
$300 or more per day with affiliate marketing. And in this video, I'm going to talk about some very
important details about this so you can figure out which route you should take and if this is the
right way for you to build an online income or not. So just to make it clear, what I'm sharing
here in this video is based on real experiences. I have started from scratch building an online
business through affiliate marketing myself.
I went from earning nothing to now making a living
online and I've been making a living online for quite a few years. And then that has given me
the freedom to work when I want to, where I want to, and be with my family when I want to. So
I actually have gone through the process. So it's not based on just theory. This is something that
I have actually done. So just wanted to make that clear. And in my opinion and experience, affiliate
marketing is actually the best option if you are a beginner that want to build a full-time income
or more online. But I will also be honest with you and say that probably 90% or more of people that
try to build an online business, whether it's with affiliate marketing or something else they will
end up failing.
And in this video here I'm going to talk about what you can do to avoid that you
will be one of the people failing and what I have learned about this based on my own experiences.
So the biggest problem for succeeding with affiliate marketing is actually the mindset/ And
one example is that many people already now will probably skip ahead or think like oh I just want
a quick fix and then that's a part of it right. That's not how it works. And people that just skip
now they will not succeed online because there are some really really important things and so many
people go into creating an online business with the wrong mindset.
And that is why so many people
actually fail. It's not because it doesn't work but is because people in most cases they just don't
do it with the right attitude or approach. They come up with excuses and they always excuses to
come up with. And I do understand that. Of course situations are different but the reality
is also that the people who really wants to create an online business and really want to learn
affiliate marketing find a way to make it happen and actually take action when they learn what
they need to do. There are of course some traps you need to avoid. But with the right mindset, with
the right attitude by believing you can actually do it by actually being able to take action, then
you have a really great chance of success if you just avoid the traps also. So before we go more
into how fast you can potentially earn $100, $200, $300 or more with affiliate marketing. let's first
go over these traps that you need to avoid. So the first very big trap is to think that you can get
rich overnight because there are so many videos here online articles whatever content where you
see people oh I just became rich, I clicked a few buttons, follow my system.
And it's not necessarily
your fault that you think you can become rich online because there are so many people that want
you to believe that. But the reality is that anyone who really makes an online business, whether it's
with affiliate marketing or anything else and become successful longterm is something they
have put in time and effort continuously for a longer period of time. That is something you
really need to understand. There is no get rich quick thing or technique or fix when it comes to
making money online if you want to make really good money online. And the first trap kind of leads
to the second trap and that is people who do not actually commit enough time. I have seen so many
people saying like Okay I'll try this for a week, I'll try this for two week and or even a month
or so and if I don't get results, then I'll just give up.Aand already there if you give yourself a
time limit like this then you have set yourself up to fail. We'll talk a little bit more about how
long it has actually taken me to build an online business a little bit later here.
But what you need
to understand is that if you decide to do it and this comes back to the mindset then you decide
to make this happen. And then you don't say I give myself a week, I give myself two weeks. You set
aside time every week, a realistic time schedule because you also don't want to burn out after a
week or two.
You should preferably set aside in my opinion at least 7 to 10 hours per week. If you
can do that, then you definitely have the chance of creating a successful online business with
affiliate marketing. So it's something you can do on the side while you have a full-time income
and a full-time job so you don't have to do it full-time. Eventually it can become full-time
or eventually you can also to outsource a lot and just keep working you know 10 hours a week
while having a full-time income. That definitely is possible with affiliate marketing. But it's not
something that will happen in a week or two. And if you put very strict pressure on yourself like
this and the reality is that some people might see some results in a month or so. For some people it
might take 3 to 6 months or more. It all depends on many different factors. But one thing is for
sure that if you want to have for example $300 income per day, then it's not something that will
just happen overnight and not something you should expect in a few weeks or even a couple of months.
It will take time to build up.
Of course there are exceptions but I'm talking about the overall
average for beginners. So to answer the question how fast can you then for example earn $300 per
day with affiliate marketing, then the little bit annoying answer is it depends. Because it depends
on your previous knowledge. It depends on how much time and effort you put in. It depends on the
methods you choose to do this. But it is something anyone can learn and anyone can do but you need
to be willing to commit to actually make it happen. And speaking of the mindset then you should
actually stop thinking about how fast you can actually do it and stop setting these deadlines
for yourself about when you should be successful or when you should have earned this much. You can
of course have goals and have milestones. That's very good to have.
But stop saying this whole thing
I will give up if because then you know you've already set yourself up for failing. So focus on
the fact that you want to make it happen and that you want to do what it takes to succeed. And for
some that will take 1 month, 2 months, 6 months. For some it will take 12 months or more. Personally for
me, I spent you know more than a year trying different things myself and failing before I started
actually figuring out which system could, to use and then from there I started building it.
So
when I had reached like a full-time income that me and my family could make a living from that took
me more than a year and a half. But that doesn't have to be the case for everyone because I did
waste a lot of time at first. I wasted more than a year doing all kind of things where I just tried
to figure things out myself. But if I had set a limit for myself say like oh if I don't make this
happen in a month or so, then I would have given up and I wouldn't have achieve the results now where
I actually make a living online both me and my wife can work when and where we want to and we can
be with our family when we want to. We can travel when we want to and I wouldn't have achieved that
freedom and those goals if I had just given up easily. But there are of course some things that
you can then do to avoid some of the same trial and errors and mistakes that I did. So let's talk
a little bit about some things you can do to make sure you get success as fast as possible.
So there
are overall three main things you need to be able to succeed with affiliate marketing as fast as
possible in my experience. And the first one is to commit mentally to do it and believe that you
can actually do it. We already talked a little bit about what that means previously in this video
here. The second thing is to commit time. Set aside minimum 5 to 10 hours every single week where
you know that at this time here I am working on my online business. Don't come up with excuses not
to do it this week or this week. Always find time to actually work on your business. If you don't
do that, you will not move forward with it and the reality is that most people can find a minimum
of 5, 7, 10 hours per week no matter how busy they are because just think about how often you just
lay in front of the TV, just sit with your phone scrolling through social media.
Could you imagine
if you actually spend that time building an online business. How it could then for example be in
6 to 12 months. And the third thing is that you actually need to get the right guidance. And
this is something as I mentioned earlier where I wasted a lot of time because I tried to figure
it out all myself from random Youtube videos, from random things online and just try to oh I can
do this affiliate marketing it's easy. I just get some links and I share them and I make commission.
But there are a lot of steps. So if you're complete beginner, you've never done anything like that
before the fact is that you will likely end up wasting a lot of time. And most people will end
up giving up if they just try to pick it out themselves. That is just the reality. And I've seen
that I've seen very very very few people actually managing to figure it out themselves.
Because
the majority of people if they just do that they will just end up wasting months and months and
sometimes years not seeing any results at all. But you do have to be careful because there are a lot
of really really poor courses out there trying to teach affiliate marketing. So you do need to choose
right because if not, you'll also just end up wasting time and money and definitely don't want
to do that.
So a tip is to always stay away from the courses that claims that you can earn a ton
of money in no time with no effort. In general, you just know that they will not teach you anything
of real value and stay away from courses made by creators that have these fake earning claims in
their videos or in their content where they say like oh earn $300 with a few clicks and all those
like clickbait things just full of lies you know. Stay away from the courses they sell because what
you will then learn is to make money by lying and you don't want to do that you can make money
ethically by helping people through affiliate marketing.
And it just really feels good to be
able to make a living online and actually doing something good at the same time in my opinion. You
should never compromise with the ethical aspect in my opinion. And if you're interested in my top
